September 2008 - The IQ Bistro is located at the University of Victoria in the Graduate Students' Society building. We were told it was recently renovated with a larger kitchen installed to better serve the customers. The restaurant is large and has outdoor seating and even at that it was full. The waitress were flying around trying to keep up with the crowd. We found a table for two and waited for the menu to be brought over. Considering the crowd, the waitress didn't take too long to get over to us. The menu was limited but they had yam fries YEAH. I ordered a chicken burger with, you guessed, yam fries and a half salad. My friend ordered the veggie burger. He said the veggie burger was really good and I enjoyed my chicken burger. The restaurant remained very busy for the entire time we were there and in the end our lunch only took an hour. The prices were very good for the quality of food and I would definitely return here. I would just make sure I wasn't in a hurry.
