"Another tasty slice!"

December 2008 - My wife and I had ordered pizza from The Brickyard shortly after we moved to Victoria, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Consequently, when I found myself working a block away from The Brickyard for a couple weeks before Christmas, I couldn't help indulging in some of their huge slices for lunch...on more than one occasion. I like The Brickyard. I like the Brick walls, and the fact that they have beer on tap. I like that you can get whole pies, or humongous slices. I like the fact that's it's beside a movie theater and that they bank on patronage from theater goers. I like that they used to do punk-rock shows there, and I wish they would do this again. The pizza is good and slices are pretty cheap. They have lunch specials and deals for people who come in with ticket stubs from the theater. The atmosphere is nice, and the location is great. They should let me DJ there one night a week and pay me in pizza slices and beer.

"Huge Slices, Great Tasting!"

by Tara (from Victoria)
July 2007 - After a long day of moving into our new home, we needed something quick and easy to eat. We decided on pizza of course! Being new to the city we had no idea of where to order from, so I just picked a place in the phone book that looked interesting and wasn’t a chain restaurant. I ordered 2 large pizzas from Brickyard Pizza which came to almost $30.00 after all taxes. That may seem like a lot, but the slices were so big I could only eat one per sitting. Those pizzas lasted us 3 days and some days we ate them for lunch and supper! It was definitely worth it. And they tasted great. One pizza was “The Brick” which included salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and black olives and the other one was the “Greek Vegetarian", which included tomatoes, green peppers, onions, feta and black olives. They both came loaded with fresh ingredients and were equally fantastic. I would highly recommend this place. The guy that we placed the order with was super friendly too. The only drawback is that they don’t deliver so I had to pick it up and parking isn’t the most convenient since they’re located downtown. It looked like a really cool place to eat in though so next time maybe we’ll try that instead of ordering out.
