August 2007 - The Med Grill has been around for a few years and recently expanded opening a second location. Both locations offer the same great food, but the atmosphere is different appealing to different crowds. The Med Grill in Royal Oak is located just off the Pat Bay Highway. Great seating indoors or out, the ambience is fun and is a great place to meet up with friends or take the parents out for dinner. The new location is on Fort Street in downtown Victoria. It is trendy and draws a younger crowd. The weekday dinner menu features a four-course meal with an appetizer, salad, entree and dessert - for a great price. You have three or four items to select from in each course and it is a great way to try new dishes. The menu changed recently which took off any food that would appeal to the average child so I wouldn't recommend this as a restaurant for young children. I would, though, recommend it for adults for any occasion - this is my favourite place to meet up with friends - but be sure to make a reservation any day of the week.
