September 2007 - The Black Olive is a nice little restaurant with a quaint, comfortable atmostphere. It is a little out of the way but worth checking out. It isn't located near shopping or other restaurants and appeared to cater to those who work near it and most customers were dressed for work. I was directed to it by someone who frequents the restaurant and raved about it. Very small - only about 15 tables and tables are close together. The owner came out and introduced the specials and answered my questions about the menu. The menu was Greek/Italian and was a little limited, but we were there for lunch so the dinner menu may have more selection. The owner recommended the crab cakes so that is what I ordered. In fact, we all ordered the crab cakes and, as the owner said, they were fabulous. I would definitely try this place out again.
