| "Delicious food and a fun atmosphere" |

June 2007 - My friends live close to this hip eatery so they took us to the Academy Bar and Eatery one night (and another time for lunch) when we were looking for a few drinks and a tasty meal. It's kind of a smallish place with a funky interior and a delicious-sounding menu. It's a combination of a bar and cafe and though there are friendly waitresses, the service was very slow both times we went. But the food made up for it -- I had the buffalo chicken sandwich with salad and it was the best I've ever had. We topped our meal off with a lemonade slush with vodka in it -- soooooo yummy and refreshing! The second time I went I had some sort of grilled cheese sandwich and again, it was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone, except those in a hurry.
