June 2006 - Branigan's is located at the forks, which is a historic site and also a funky market-type place in Winnipeg. They have a nice glassed-in atrium with looks out onto the square and the river. We went there one day for lunch and while it was pretty busy, we were seated right away. I had the clubhouse which was really good but it's hard to go wrong with a clubhouse. Everyone else enjoyed the food they got, and the beers were nice and cold. The service was prompt and efficient but not overly friendly. It was a little on the expensive side but I guess that's what you get for such a stunning location. I would go back but I might try one of the mre adventurous items on the menu. However, I heard that Branigan's had been replaced with another restaurant ...
