December 2006 - After a month in Yellowknife, we can finally confirm - witout a doubt, food is best at Pan Asia. Service can be a wee bit slow, but so very nice and pleasant. We have eaten here many times and we highly recommend any of the hot pot dishes, the Japanese dumplings, the Singapore noodles. In fact, everything we have had here has been excellent and a relief from the Asian food mediocrity elsewhere in town. If you are in Yellowknife and crave decent, good quality Chinese food, don't even think of anywhere else - Pan Asia is the best.
OK, it isn't a beautiful place. Eat the food. You won't care.
