June 2007 - Spent 5 nights. The view is exquisite and constantly changing. It is truly by the sea (well, Frobisher Bay to be exact). The rooms are comfortable, and the mattresses are wonderful with very simple cozy comforters. Great kitchen with everything required to cook for 1 or 20. The staff (Sophia, Eric/owner) are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They are also very resourceful and can point you in the right direction if you have special requirements during your stay. Home away from home. As soon as I landed back in Ottawa, I wanted to go back. Guests during my stay came from Belgium, France, and Toronto. A film crew rested up for a day. An "expediter" stayed for extended period making connections to outfit a geological survey crew. You can stay very private, or enjoy open and comfortable space for socializing. Taxis to anywhere are $5 or $6 Canadian. And everything is only moments away. You are halfway between "downtown" and Apex - so can hike the coast in either direction.
