April 2007 - I"m from Switzerland and love the Air Force Lodge. Its very clean, super friendly and safe. It's the oldest building in town but at the same time one of the most modern. The owner told me that it took 2,5 years to restore. They have complementary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice. Free highspeed internet wireless is also included in the price. I payed with my partner $ 65,- plus tax $ 3,90 = total $ 68,90.
I had the best sleep in a long time, its quite in the night. The setup is very charming with a lot of trees on the property and picnic tables to relax. You also find a little library and a modern public Phone in the buinding.

August 2006 - Hello fellow travelers,
I'm from europe and travel all over the world in my holidays. I espeacialy love Canada and the west. I travelled the Alaska Highway 4 times already and stayed 3 times in the Air Force Lodge. What a wonderful place. I checked the other places in town, very dissapointing. One Hotel changed the price for a room in one hour by over $ 15. Most of the other ones are dirty and unsafe and expensive. I like places with character and friendly service. And very important to me is a safe place without drunk people and bars. On these long roads its also important for me that I have a quite sleep in the night. Everything I found in the Air Force Lodge and more. I've got a friendly smile in the morning followed with a strong hot coffee and the wireless Highspeed internetconnection gave me the chance to say hello at home at no cost to me. By the way, this wonderful lodge is also the best value for your dollar, nobody has a better price. I would recomment to make a reservation, its sometime hard to get a room. and most important: its very very clean, cleaner then my home. I wish everybody happy traveling
