| "Perfect base for Algonquin" |

August 2007 - This motel is in the perfect location to stay before and after tackling Algonquin's back country. Its is located minutes from the East Gate. We stayed in 3 rooms and the cabin in back. Having the cabin made it easy for our party of 11 to sort out our gear and food for 5 days in the back country.
The rooms had the basics (cable, AC & small frig) and they were clean and very reasonably priced. No frills.
They rent out canoes which made it even easier on our logistics. They ran the canoes we couldn't get on our vehicles out to our put in point and came out to pick them up when we got back.
I will definately be back next time I tackle Algonquin.
