September 2007 - Excellent Hosts! I have been staying here for about a year and a half on a weekly basis while on Contract. They have great food and decent amenities, flat screen TV's, Sauna, Hot Tub, Workout and Games rooms (no pool though, and it's a fairly longwalk to get to the beach). Beds and pillows are very comfortable

June 2005 - Thank you for the opportunity to comment on my stay at the Best Western Inn in Kincardine. I generally find the Best Western to be very good, and on this occasion was, for the most part, favourably impressed. Although the hotel was undergoing a fresh painting, there was no substantial lingering odour of paint, and every room was very clearly marked with a temporary room number.
My wife would have liked to see a small fridge in the room, as we've often had, but it was not a major concern on this trip. The large flat-screen TV was in excellent condition and was most enjoyable. The large closet was also more than adequate.
I am not overly fond of the moisturizing body washes that were hanging in the bathroom, prefering to have bars, though I realize the economy of what I found.
My only real complaint comes with the size of the bed. I booked and confirmed a room with a Queen sized bed only to find that there was only a large double. I sleep every night in a Queen sized bed, and my feet do not hang over the end as was the case here. When I brought this to the attention of the desk clerk in the morning, I was politely told that it was, indeed, a Queen sized bed. Checking such a thing on a list does not make it so. The attendant had not slept in that bed. I was the person who had slept (or rather, not slept well) in it, and I can say without doubt that it was not the advertised size.
Although this experience will not make me shy away from Best Western (as I said above, I have often had very good experiences in BW hotels), undergoing it again, may make me think twice.
