July 2007 - Barb, and staff are wonderful, the cottages are neat and clean and well equipped. We had a problem with a few missing kitchen items, but they were replaced immediately. Some of the cottages are right on the beach front with balconies off the bedrooms(great when you have a little one who can't be left in the cottage alone but you still want more outdoor time)
I have used one of these cottages before, but had switched to an independant right in the area, without the same detail to upkeep of the appliances etc. Very glad we went back to the Motel cottages and have already booked again for next year.

September 2006 - My husband and I have stayed here before, but in 2006, we brought our son,his wife and two boys, ages four and a half and two. We stayed in a newly-built cottage, with lots of room, and everything we could possibly need for our comfort and enjoyment.
The best thing about the Beach property is the owner. In fact, anyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. We are coming back this year, and may be able to bring more family. We feel like family there! We love Ontario, but best of all is the Bruce, and within it, the Lions Head Beach Motel. It will become a yearly event, I hope for as long as I last.
My tip would be to call as soon as you know when you can go, because I am sure they sell out all the time. We reserved August dates this year in December 2006, and were lucky to get the cottage we wanted.
