| "Disappointing" |

October 2007 - Rather a disappointing stay. There were 4 of us in 2 rooms. The guests next door to us returned late, and woke us up because our room had a firedoor connected to their room with a very large gap at the bottom of the door, meaning you could hear every noise.
The bed was poor - the bed cover smelled bad,and the pillows were lumpy and very uncomfortable.
Breakfast was pitiful, a few bagels and bad coffee, with styofoam cups and bowls, and a garbage bin that overflowed onto the floor.

July 2007 - We booked this motel on line. On the print-out it said that there was a discount for travellers 55 and over. The front desk clerk told us that there was no special rate for this age group as the senior rate was after 65. He told us that the information we received off the internet was a mis-print. He informed us that we were already getting a special rate of $126 for a room valued at $150.
The room was mediocre. The doors, both the hall door and the sliding glass doors, were very difficult to open. The bathroom needed up-dating. The shower was virtually non-existant. When you turned it on all you got was cold water. The water virtually disappeared when turning the tap to hot. The tap also came off the post very easily. The continental breakfast was coffee, which my wife does not drink, and a few muffins and bagels. No juice, no tea, no fruit. We went out to eat. When we checked out we told the front desk clerk, same one as the night before, about our problems with the shower. He first told us that he was having a hard time getting maintenance to fix these things; second, that the place was under new management and the new owner hardly spoke English and did not understand that he would have to spend money to make the place more viable; third, that he would put us on to his 'regular' customer list and if we ever stayed there again we could have this room for $72.
