February 2008 - I found the Owen Sound Inn to be a great hotel with all the services I needed such as wireless internet. Great staff, great service and very clean. I even received 10% off when I went to East Sides Mario's for lunch. I will stay here again and I suggest you do to.

August 2007 - What a disappointment! The website was under construction at the time of trying to decide where to stay so when pulling up to the place and seeing a standard run of the mill motel sure was not what we expected.
The cost was astronomical! It was 160.00 per night and with that "special" rate we had to book it for two nights. This was during the popular folk festival. The room was ok.. nothing special. A large burn in the comforter was immediately reported in case they thought we had done it. No offers of changing the bedding. For that price I would have expected a few niceties but there were a couple of bars of soap; no shampoo or any other necessities that you normally find at an expensive hotel. There was not even a hair dryer on the wall although it looked like there once was one there. The continental breakfast was a real treat.. the girl on the desk went into the curtained room behind her and came out with two pieces of toast. Gosh that was special, although we did get our choice of white or brown toast. For two nights stay paying well over 300 dollars I would have been better off to stay in Toronto at a luxury hotel. I would not stay there again if it was half the price.
Please be more diligent than we were in searching for a place to stay. We saw a few much nicer places driving around town. What a waste of our money that was.

August 2007 - I loved this hotel, clean, comfortable and we also stayed on Folk Festival weekend and paid $160 per night. If you compare this to the other hotels that were close and over $200 per night, it was a great deal. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I and my entire family really enjoyed staying here.
