July 2007 - The employees were very friendly and helpful, the continental breakfast included hard boiled eggs, toast, many cereals, great cinnamon buns, danish, tea, coffee, juices etc and was very good especially since it was included in the price of the hotel. There was an outdoor pool and the room was clean and had everything needed but is older and a bit dated, still a great value for the money in my opinion.

May 2007 - My wife and I were travelling to see a Detroit Red Wings Playoff game and as we were going to be arriving around Midnight(late check-in no problem) and leaving at 11:00 AM the next morning we really just wanted a nice clean room and a decent bed near Joe Louis Arena. Everything in the room was neat and clean. Not new, but clean. Bathroom was very clean. Shower was great: Lots of hot water, lots of pressure..and the drain worked well! ( I hate it when the shower won't drain...seems like a lot of hotels have this problem)
Breakfast at the restaurant was great. Friendly, prompt service all around.
We were at Joe Louis Arena within 15 minutes, and most of that time was at customs
My wife is fairly particular about rooms, and she says if we go to another game we are staying here again.
Go Wings!! (They won 4-1 vs. Sharks)
