June 2007 - I can not recommend Artbar for a pre-show dinner. The service was extremely slow. We arrived at 6pm, ordered by 6:15, but didn't receive our entrees until 7:20 and our desserts until 7:50. We had to run to our seats in the theatre and made it barely 30 seconds before the show started. We had to return at intermission to pay our bills, and found that both bills for our party of 6 were wrong. Two members of our party were charged for food they did not order and was not served. We had to return after the show to finish paying the bill.
Our concerns about the slow service were dismissed, and the server blamed us. Two members of our party arrived less than 5 minutes late, but there were other larger tables that were seated after us that were served first. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong thing off the menu. If that's the case, we should have been informed that it would not be possible for us to have our meals within the two hours before the show.
