April 2007 - When we arrived, the lobby of the hotel was filled to the brim with screaming children. We were told a hockey tournament was going on and the teams were staying far away from our room and not to worry. The teams actually surrounded our room making sleeping difficult as the parents of these little monsters let them run up and down the halls, play hockey in the halls, slam doors, etc. There was a big sign downstairs that said a curfew at 10:00 pm would be strictly enforced by hotel management. It wasn't.
We asked for a non-smoking room. It reeked of smoke. Apparently, it used to be a smoking room as of 3 weeks ago. While an ionizer was in the room it did not get rid of the smell. We asked for another room and were told it wasn't possible. So we were then told that someone would be up to spray the room with Febreeze or something. They never showed.
Our room had no heat. We were freezing and asked that the heat be fixed. It wasn't. We called again and they said they would send up blankets. They didn't.
The bathroom, while clean, looked like the ceiling was going to gave in. I was afraid to put on my makeup.
This is a hotel that does not offer good service in the slightest. I would not recommend it to anyone. Nor will I EVER go back there.
