May 2008 - I just wanted to let you know how happy we are with the service and work ethic of our movers. We hired a team of 3 men and they were truly excellent. They showed up early so there was no stress from the start. We had 2 challenging homes, the first with 2 stories, and the second with 3. It was a warm day, we had lots of heavy items like books, and they worked tirelessly, accurately, and carefully. Our beds and furniture were wrapped and handled gingerly. They then used blankets to protect our hardwood floor. I also really appreciated that one men was always on the truck so as to protect our belongings from passers-by. Honestly, these men worked so incredibly hard. They re-attached our bed frames and were sure to put boxes in the right rooms. Even though we kept them fed, watered, and tipped them, I felt it important to let you know that I felt these men to be the best movers I've ever had, and I've moved a lot!

October 2007 - They showed up on time at 9 am, but presented a contract that contradicted conversations with the woman at the office around what I would be charged for. Three guys were standing around on my dime, while I tried to sort this out with the supervisor. Long story short: I had to sign or they wouldn't move me. They charged 65% more than promised, including 19% tax when I should have been charged 6% plus PST on materials. They failed to provide the "complimentary mattress cover" and instead charged me for shrink wrapping my bed. There were hidden fees on my invoice that I still don't understand because they refused to follow up my complaint. They even refused to give me a manager's name. Although the movers removed my couch legs without my knowledge or permission and neglected to give them to me, I was told this was "my responsibility." They finally delivered them two weeks later. Make sure you read the contract before you hire this company.
