| "Excellent Couple's Package" |

February 2008 - Recently I booked a package with Shizen Spa called the "Relax and Dine" for couples. We arrived early as requested and went up to the 4th floor, which is where the spa is located. The Atmosphere was serene and calming. Immediately I felt relaxed and the staff made me very at ease. Both myself and my girlfriend are not regular spa participants, so it was nice to have courteous attendants who explained everything before hand. The rose oil massage was absolutely incredible. The therapists were very skilled and professional. It was a couples massage, so we could be in the same room which was a very relaxing and calming environment.
The dine equation took place at Eight Wine Bar, beside the hotel lobby. The wine was truly magnificent. The wines there are special order stock so, very hard to come by and not easily available through the LCBO. The menu was small but lively with some very interesting choices. I went with the Angus striploin and my girlfriend had the Buffalo short ribs. The food was divine and the restaurants interior decor was very comfortable and relaxing. I highly recommend the Shizen Spa and the Eight Wine Bar. Either one on it's own is a fabulous time out but coupling the two is shear heaven.
