| "Very good accommodation" |
by Loek (from Amsterdam, the Netherlands) June 2007 - We visited Toronto from June 16 until July 9 in 2007. Because this was quite a long time, we were looking for an accommodation where we were able to do our own cooking. That is not to easy to find, because most hotels en bed & breakfasts don’t give you that opportunity. After doing a bit of research on the web we found the website from the cozy suites inn and we fell instantly in love with this beautiful inn. We were a bit worried though, because sometimes you hear horror stories about places that have a beautiful website or brochure, but are in fact rundown places. When we arrived at the Cozy Suites Inn, we realised that the real thing looked even better than what we had seen on the internet, so we shouldn’t have worried. This inn is great looking, the rooms were clean and spacious and in the fridge we found bottled water, milk, cake, orange juice and yoghurt. There was also a bowl filled with fresh fruit. The day after our arrival we met Deborah, the inn keeper. She was very nice and made us feel welcome. Also she was able to answer al our questions and give us valuable information.
Because the Cozy Suites Inn doesn’t have a lot of rooms (only 5), it was never crowded with other guests and we were able to enjoy the garden. The bus to Victory Park subway station has a stop right in front of the Cozy Suites Inn and grocery shops like Loblaws and the Price Chopper where a short walking distance away. The only small downsite to the Cozy Suites Inn, is that the drive downtown by public transport is just a little bit long.
We were very satisfied with the Cozy Suites Inn en we would highly recommend it. From housekeeping to Deborah’s father, everyone did their best to make our stay unforgettable and we really had a home away from home.
