| "Picadilly Circus as a Pub/Club? Seriously?!" |

December 2006 - I admit, I've never been to this pub but I have to say that I can't imagine why anyone would want to make a pub/club version of Piccadilly Circus. If this is supposed to be an authentic version of Piccadilly Circus it should have a grey interior and be full of pigeons, dumbfounded tourists and pickpockets... not stripper poles and girls in bikinis. I guess I can see trying to create a British theme pub and naming it after Piccadilly Circus because the iconic name would draw people in, but based on the website, the red phone box is the only British thing about the place. Of all the beers listed on the website not a single one is British and there is nothing remotely British about the menu of chili dogs, nachos and wings. I suppose the place may be fun but I also have to say that I wonder how great a bar that offers 'reverse cover' on a Thursday night could possibly be. I've never heard of a club that offers to pay patrons to come in! If anyone has been and has had positive experiences, please add a review and let everyone know what it's like!
