| "An average meal" |
|

by Tanya (from Calgary) June 2007 - I recently ate dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe in Toronto. I was in Toronto for a conference and had to dine solo. I went to the Hard Rock Cafe because it was centrally located and there is lots to look at. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and chatty since it was very quiet in there. She was always there to fill up my beer and she was friendly without being too intrusive....just what I needed.
I had the Honey Citrus Grilled Chicken Salad for my meal. It was definately a dinner sized salad and I it filled me up. I liked that that salad had oranges on it as this and the blue cheese added additional, much needed, flavor. Without these, it would have been a pretty boring meal. The atmosphere is typical of any Hard Rock Cafe, with guitars and other paraphenalia on the walls and a store where you can buy Cafe merchandise.
My meal at the Hard Rock Cafe was pretty average. It is nice that it is so centrally located in Toronto and there is always the novelty of it if you have never been to a Hard Rock Cafe, but I wouldn't recommend going here if what you are after is fabulous food and a unique experience.
