October 2006 - I visited the Hungry Wolf just after they opened for business. Unlike every other restaurant, in the Bala area, that serves only pub-fare, the Hungry Wolf provides a variety of excellent cuisine, and all cooked to perfection. The new owner is often there to greet customers. This adds personal touch that is sorely lacking in the other restaurants of the area. The staff are courteous and attentive and the food absolutely superb.
