September 2008 - We had our wedding at Port Cunnington Lodge in September 2008. From Day 1, when we met for our first tour, we were impressed by both the physical look of the resort and the Staff. All staff that we dealt with over the year of planning were extremely helpful, went out of their way to answer questions. On the actual weekend of our wedding, our guests were blown away by the resorts amenties and how kind they all were. There was not a single issue throughout the weekend - that i knew of at least! We had no issues with charges or fees and would 100% recommend a stay or having a wedding at Port Cunnington Lodge. We can't wait to return for future events & holidays!

July 2007 - We stayed at Port Cunnington Lodge for two nights to attend our son's wedding and were extremely disappointed with the accommodations and the lack of forthright information on their price list. The management is extremely rude and will treat you as if you really shouldn't question them on anything, just pay your bill and get out. I would not recommend this resort.

I would like to respond to the posted comments. A small group of people checked into our resort on a Friday night. The rooms had been secured and booked by the Bride and Groom although the individual guests were to pay for their own bills. Once the group had checked in, they informed us they were going to switch rooms. They also told us they would bring us a list the next day to tell us who was now staying in what accommodation. When this lady went to check out she stated that her room was never used and she had decided to bunk in with another couple. Now there would not have been a problem if the room had been cancelled when they checked in. However, it was never cancelled and they took the opportunity for us to re rent this space away ( and I turned dozens of people away ). As with any other resort or hotel, if the room is never cancelled charges would apply. The above comments neglect to mention that the disputed charges where taken off the bill. Port Cunnington Lodge prides itself on the hospitality we offer and many of our guests have been returning for generations.
