August 2007 - This particular franchise of Céline Dion’s chain of Nickels Grill and Bar diners has been under new management many times in its history. Nevertheless, I’ve always found the service good and the food quality acceptable.
While I expect many patrons come for the desserts, in particular, the chocolate cake appropriately named the “Celine” the menu is deep enough to satisfy the requirements of any diner.
This is a diner so expect many fried items. The smoked meat sandwich is a good choice though I find the rye bread too fresh. The french fries are the disappointingly thin string cuts. The pasta dishes reminded me of pancake-house spaghetti dishes from the ‘70s. The wraps, fajitas and quesadillas entrees are tasty options for your meal.
The menu includes sections for the children and for the golden agers.
If you time your dinner well, you can walk out the door and straight in to the Silver City cinema complex and its IMAX theatre experience.
