September 2007 - St-Hubert’s chicken menu has expanded to include steak, ribs, fajitas and other new entrees. However, the new more expensive items seem to be subsidizing the lower prices of the restaurant’s traditional chicken dinners. I still enjoyed my less expensive half-chicken dinner. The meal is served with never-ending buns and cole slaw. I eat the creamy, my partner eats the less creamy cole slaw.
I so love the dipping sauce that my fries and buns get dipped in the sauce as well as pieces of my chicken meal. I do not like the dipping sauce at Swiss Chalet.
The serving sizes are generous. My partner took home half of her rib dinner and passed on any dessert. She didn’t even share my delicious specialty. Try the limited-time dessert, it’s a cored and skinned baked apple filled with sauce, covered in cake and drizzled with caramel. I’m so glad that I had room for that.
