September 2008 - This was the first time I had visited a franchise of the Lone Star Texas Grill. My dinner mates had previously visited a few times and knew exactly what they wanted. One chose the small rib eye steak and the other enjoyed a ranch burger. The steak dinner came with onion rings (that went uneaten) and mushrooms (which were sprinkled with a bit too much pepper).
The added pepper was a nice bit of hot on my big rig Tijuana burrito. Advertised as twelve-inch in size, I had so hoped the burrito would be as big as my head like some delicious burrito I recall in southern California. Sadly, it was not - but it was still yummy.
We had passed on starters but not on desserts. The first choice was deep fried ice cream. They ran out!? Second choice was the Berry White Cheese Cake - for two, I noticed. I chose Chudleigh's Apple Sizzler which was ignited for me at the table a la sizzling fajita.
The music is loud and I like it like that.
