April 2008 - The service today at Boston Pizza was almost too good. I lost track of how many visits we had from our server. It’s really too bad that even though I had asked for Coke to drink I got water. Oh well, I saved some money (which ended up on her tip anyway). Perhaps that was her plan.
My dining partner did get the correct beverage - and kept getting unsolicited no-cost refills. My dining partner’s choice for lunch was a starter order of hot wings plus a half spinach salad (choosing blue cheese rather than sour cream dip). The wings were a bit thin and I think we should have got extra spicy.
My choice for lunch was the Orleans Monday ‘fast lunch’ sandwich: Boston cheese steak. The fries were okay, just okay. The beef dip for the sandwich was nice. This ‘fast lunch’ may have been an example of ‘you get what you pay for.’
Unfortunately, we did not have time for starters or desserts. I guess we had room in the tummies. Every single one of the plates was licked clean before it went back to the dishwashers.
