October 2007 - Overall we had a wonderful stay and definitely recommend this hotel, especially when you consider price and location. The bed and pillows were amazing; having a computer in the room was an unexpected bonus. The kitchen was well-equipped. Also, we really appreciated the open spaciousness of the room.
That being said, there were some maintenance issues. The most serious, the security deadbolt did not work our first night, was fixed promptly the next day. However the smoke alarm remained dangling by its wires for our entire stay. Other picky issues included inadequate lamp lighting. We had to choose between office style flourescent ceiling lights or the bedside lamps. No lamp near the phone or the reading/TV chair. We had difficulty finding the phone. It should be relocated to the night table or computer desk, rather than be tucked in a corner out of sight and with a cord too short to move onto the nearby coffee table.
The continental breakfast was excellent, although keeping it open to 11 am on weekend would have been appreciated.
We will definitely return.
