| "Bargain in downtown London" |

December 2007 - London Executive Suites is right in downtown London, within a block of the Hilton, Delta and Holiday Inn. The prices are extremely reasonable - the winter rates seem to start at $75/night, and for this you get an entire suite... I believe the building used to be an apartment block.
The suite was large, well-furnished, clean and relaxing and there was minimal noise from the outside. The staff were very polite and helpful. Unadvertised bonuses include free high speed wireless Internet access on all floors and free use of the YMCA, which is a block away.
I was told that the hotel stays 80% to 85% booked, because of the good rates, so it is wise to book in advance.
The hotel did have signs up reminding people not to smoke outside of designated smoking suites, and this did seem to be a problem at times, although simply laying a towel in front of the door will effectively block infiltration of smoky air into the suite.
Highly recommended for value-conscious people who want to be downtown and don't mind foregoing the 'frills' of expensive hotels.

October 2006 - My stay at London Executive Suites Hotel was great. My room had everything I needed including a kitchen!! After reading the last review that was quite disturbing, I thought I would write to the travellers considering this property about the positive experience I had at the hotel. All of the staff and managers were always friendly and accommodating and the rate was great!! $69 bucks for a night in a hotel downtown London with big rooms and full kitchens is a steal. I would recommend this hotel to my friends, family and any person considering this property.

| "Worst Hotel Ever!" |

September 2006 - This has to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed at! That's if you can even call it a hotel. It's a creepy old apartment building turned into a hotel. The rooms are very old, smelled like smoke, the bathroom door didn't shut, the water pressure only trickled out of the shower head, stained carpet, no alarm clock, even the door fell off the so-called entertainment unit and extremely noisy at night. The best part about the hotel was the lack of customer service we received after complaining how dissatisfied we were with the room and restless sleep. The general manager was unwilling to compensate us in any way for our dissatisfaction. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you're looking for something just short of ghetto!
