August 2008 - at a whim my mother, daughter and 2 boys decided to do some blueberry picking , a little swimming and fishing. after some motel serching i stumbled upon the travel lodge in simcoe , the prices were reasonable so we decided to take a chance unseen hoping for the best. well it turned out to be a great 3 days, the boys loved the pool and we were quite comfortable ( little cramped with a cot as we were 5 people , but the staff and service made up for that. we were apprehensive about the weather but simcoe welcomed us with sunshine for the whole stay, we left home in the rain and returned to rain so the whole trip was just perfect.. no fish but tons of delicious blueberries! yes we would go back!!

July 2006 - We checked into our non-smoking room on Tuesday, July 17 for three nights. The room had not been properly cleaned: my wife found shards of a lipstick under the sink and the rug had a very disagreeable appearance, although it was a dark one, making it hard to be sure. The hallways reeked of cigarette smoke. Our room had a locked connecting door to an adjoining room that we did not use. We were unhappy to be hearing voices and television from that room.
The pool was excellent, as was the whirpool bath beside it. The water in the indoor pool was quite warm. However, these good features were not good enough to keep us there. We checked out after a single night.
