October 2007 - The young woman at the desk was extremely helpful and cheerful. After we had dropped a pyrex dish in the parking lot, we were concerned about the sharp shards hurting the tires of our car. I asked the woman at the desk for a broom and plastic bag. She promptly fetched them, and then came with me to clean up the mess. She was also knowledgeable about local attractions. Later, she answered all our questions about good places to go for a hike and see the fall colours, and good places to eat.

September 2007 - The Days Inn jn Collingwood far exceeded my expectation based on other Days Inns I've been at and other hotels in this price range.
I was summoned home because of a family emergency and the staff did an excellent job of tracking me down at a conference.
I don't normally tell people about my hotel experiences, good or bad, but I won't hesitate to recommend the Days Inn if I hear a friend or associate is travelling to Collingwood.
