August 2008 - The Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent. The only problem I saw was on the first morning, the complimentary breakfast, the food was practically gone by 0815 hrs. The breakfast goes on until 1000 hrs.

February 2008 - I phoned ahead to verify the room had a coffee maker, iron and ironing board as indicated on the booking website. All items were confirmed for the room. We arrived to find all items missing. The bed did not look like it was make up properly so we pulled the top covers back to find the sheets had not been changed from the previous guests. Reported everything to the front desk and they called housekeeping to change the sheets and towels while we waited. No offer was made to move us to another room. They brought the coffee maker after we asked at the front desk. The following morning we asked to speak to a Manager about our experience and got the run around. We were told all the Managers were out of the country.... We would never stay here again.

December 2007 - The room was CLEAN and warm. The beds were comfortable and clean. We were very pleased with the friendly and helpful staff. Also the continental breakfast was excellent as there had been a snowfall and we did not have to leave the lodge to get breakfast. The lobby was very festive it was decorated for christmas. We enjoyed our visit. We received good value for our money.

November 2007 - The saty at the hotel was good. The staff was courteous and the room ready and clean. Unfortunately when I booked the room on-line there was no indication whether the room was smoking or non-smoking (which has become the norm), so when I checked in all I could get was a smoking room. UGH! That was quite unpleasant.

November 2007 - This was the best priced hotel in Orillia and good value for the money. If all you need is a clean room with a comfortable bed, this more than meets the need. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. I would stay here again.

February 2007 - A great stay for a good price!
Don't miss the last shuttle bus back from the casino, the cab ride is $30. Front desk reception was very warm, we would stay again!
