June 2007 - When you are paying over $1000 for a "private" cottage for the weekend that looks fantastic on the web, you would think you have it made. However, my experience dealing with Pinecrest Rentals was more than disappointing. Our "private" cottage was immediately adjoined to the cottage next door. The Pinecrest staff was extremely unprofessional: they were difficult to reach over the phone and internet; they only accepted cash payments; and they did not provide a valid receipt.
