August 2008 - My fiance and I rented a room on the second floor with one queen size bed. The room itself was very well kept and very clean. We had no complaints about noise levels or anything like that. The hotel was in a good location within town, only about a five minute drive to any restaurants we wanted to eat at or to the bridge across Quinte Bay. Our reason for staying in Belleville was to go to Sandbanks Provincial Park - the drive to there from the hotel was about 40 minutes, but very scenic so we didn't mind (and well worth - the beach there is amazing!). The staff was also very helpful in providing us with directions to any where we needed.
The only problems with the room was that the volume on the TV seemed to have a mind of it's own, and the bed itself was much firmer than we are used to. Also, the hallway downstairs did not smell very fresh; it was kind of stale smelling, probably from the rooms which allowed smoking. The second floor, however, smelled fine.
All in all, we would probably return to the Comfot Inn, though we have not experienced any other hotels in the area.
