September 2007 - If you are in Cornwall and you need to eat cheap, this is the place to be. For 69 cents (yes, only 69 cents), try the specialty, an all-dressed steamie. This darling little hot dog comes with mustard, relish, onions and cole slaw. You can get it dressed any way you like.
The french fries are large and more like potato wedges. In addition to the regular french fries, one can order poutine or Michigan (chili cheese) fries. Billy K’s also offers smoked meat sandwiches, chicken pitas, cheeseburgers, hamburgers and a variety of salads.
This restaurant has been around for decades and is a successful high-traffic business. The interior is nothing special but it is clean. The restaurant is located on the north-bound side of the main highway (Brookdale) just passed the traffic circle north of the international bridge. At Billy K’s, you can fill that empty tummy while spending very little.
