January 2008 - When I checked in to the hotel, the person at the desk appeared too busy to handle my business. I was treated like an inconvenience. She spent most of the time on the telephone, grabbed my credit and CAA cards from me, didn't communicate clearly, and treated me like I was slow when I kept standing at the counter when she had completed checking me in. The trouble is that she didn't say anything such as "Thanks", or "That's it, we're done". She just stared at me, and when I asked is that it she said one word. Yes. I wish I could communicate the tone of that one word.
The facility itself is fine, and the morning staff are better, but the evening staff I have encountered often range from surly to indifferent. If it weren't convenient for my needs, I mightn't stay there. Certainly the rooms are clean, and the morning continental breakfast is nice.
