June 2007 - The attached motel style room was comparatively expensive but well laid out with porch screened in with a view to the dockage. This area appeared to be an adult 'party central' which moved poolside later in the day. As guests, we were told we could not have alcoholic beveredges pool side (even in plastic glasses) yet the 'party people' lived there for some hours. Thier empty beer/liquor bottles and beer caps were scattered about the next morning! The room was fairly clean but with stained bedspread/carpet and the noise in the morning was not welcome (housekeeping staff arriving). We were assured a BBQ and microwave...had to ask for the microwave (delivered promptly though) and just moved a BBQ from down the way up to our unit. Would definitely NOT recommend this place for families with children or impressionable members. The restaurant on site catered to pizza and more expensive main courses. The promised 'live entertainment' was still not off the ground by 10 pm. Canned music ricocheted off the tin ceiling tiles and there were no security people evident.
