August 2008 - excellent stay. good room, fine breakfast, friendly staff, good location.
Improvement: wireless internet troublesome (but business office worked very well), air conditioner noisy.

September 2007 - I do not personally have a credit card and the room was reserved using my fathers card. I have done this in the past and when I checked in used cash to pay for the room etc. I have never had a problem untill now. I was not told in my confirmation e-mail that the card or a letter from the card holder was needed, stating I could use their card. I could not make a cash deposit, the only thing acceptable was a credit card. After spending 2 hours in the lobby I was able to finally obtain a letter to give them, stating I could use the card. In my opionon cash is still widely used today and I was willing to put down twice the amount in cash, that they would have secured on the card for the room. In my opinion a deposit is a deposit, but in the day of plastic, we people that don't carry it are being discriminated against. If you don't have a credit card, look elsewhere for a hotel. In a sidenote, the staff at the front desk had their hands tied, they had to follow the rules that were set down for them. They never stopped trying to be helpful and tried to find a way to work out the situation. If you have a credit card, I would highly recommend this hotel. Customer service was above and beyond, after we got past the credit card issue.
