August 2007 - One night is not enough time to spend in this fascinating city. The Delta Montreal was a pleasant stay in the heart of downtown, close to all the action. Our room was quiet, comfortable and tastefully appointed, albeit more functional than luxurious (particularly the bathroom). My husband and I were disappointed that they had no king (or even queen) beds available; we had to settle for two double beds instead. Make sure you book well in advance or this hotel may not be the best choice! The balcony is a nice feature of this high-rise hotel, however the best views are limited to the upper-most floors. Front-desk staff were courteous and helpful; language was never an issue here (we were pleased to find that Montreal is a very bilingual city). Overall this hotel is good value for the dollar, but those seeking more luxurious accommodations would benefit to shop around.
