April 2008 - I work across the street from this restaurant and have gone several times for both lunch and dinner. The lunch buffet is the best Indian buffet I have had in Montreal - the selection is smaller than at Bombay Palace, but then the quality of what they do serve is superior and is clearly freshly prepared, not just left sitting there for hours. The dinner menu is varied, and includes some dishes I haven't found in other Indian places in Montreal. I usually go for the chicken tikka masala, it's very creamy and tender and the yogurt and spices it's marinated in give it a kick. They have a whole assortment of wines too, but I recommend a bottle (or two) of Kingfisher Beer. The portions look small at first but you'd be surprised how filling they are; I have a sizeable appetite and even so I'm sometimes hard-pressed to finish my meal. The atmosphere and service are equally memorable. If you like Indian food and fine dining you shouldn't miss this place.
