July 2008 - Booked for 2 days and extended our stay to eight. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful! Would return in a minute! Great food and centrally located in the beautiful city of Quebec!

October 2007 - We spent the weekend of Oct. 5-7 at this very nice hotel. We retired in the Eastern Townships of Quebec five years ago and this was our first visit to Quebec City. The Lowes staff were excellent, the food and view from La Astral were great, the location was an easy walk to the Old City, and the room with the "panoramic" view was better than being at a hotel in the heart of the Old Quebec. Last, but not least, the room rate was less than half the rate at the Frontenac.
