March 2007 - This hotel has nice common-areas (lobby, gala rooms, etc) but the rooms themselves suck. The beds were both hard as rock, the pillows were lumpy, the whole room smelt of smoke (despite the fact that I asked for a non-smoking room), and the walls are thin as paper. The bathroom was clean, but the fixtures didn't work properlly: it was difficult to turn on the cold water in both the sink and the shower, and when you did finally get a temperature you liked, the water would randomly go very very cold or very very hot. If you're only staying there for a few nights it's fine, better than the other hotels in St. Jean...but if you're looking for something a little more well-kept I suggest you make the drive to Montreal or stay in an Inn.
