August 2006 - This cabin is definately that, a Getaway! It comes comeplete with all appliances (including washer & dryer) and all dishes! We loved our stay. It was only a five minute walk to Sandy Bay Beach for the kids to play in the water. It's a nice large beach with nice sand. We've also started to go to Waskatena Beach which is more downtown Candle Lake. It's the best beach for small kids, vey clean and clear water, they can go out a long distance before it gets too deep. It doesn't reach my knees till about 50 or more feet in.
The cabin itself is in a very remote area, so quite a bit of privacy...only neighbors on one side, otherwise it's the forest. Deer come through every morning! Nice and clean_ very well kept, not your average park rental. This is privately owned. We've been there many times in the last few years and love it, the kids always want to go back.
