| "problems with my reservation booked online" |

March 2007 - I booked my room online and then when I got to the Comfort Inn in Saskatoon, the front desk did not have record of the booking. I was told they did not have a room for me. I had printed off a copy of my confirmed reservation (thankfully) and showed it to the desk clerk. She told me they do not acknowledge reservations booked online. So I said....are you the Comfort Inn at 2155 Northridge Drive? And do you see this confirmation number right here?....get me a room. They said they could get a room, but that it wouldn't be a nonsmoking room. I repeated: get me a nonsmoking room. Eventually, she did find one for me and was pleasant enough about it. So, what happened there? I booked my flight and my rental car online with no glitches. Now I'm afraid to do this again with a hotel.
