| "Underrated in the "pint after work" category" |
|
|
by Lindsay (from Saskatoon) September 2007 - Winston’s Pub is located in downtown Saskatoon and offers an excellent array of food items ranging from the ethnic English fare of the Pub’s namesake to the more classic options like burgers and pizza. The big draw, however, aside from the often colourful clientele, is the wide range of import ales that are also available. The impressive selection is arranged in the menu according to the country of origin but you have to check with the server about availability. Even those obscure, local brews from small Eastern European cities are on the menu and are a great complement to reminiscing over a trip. The prices for imports are generally quite high but it is usually worth it for something different. Winston’s often draws younger and louder crowds on the weekends and can be quite busy, but it is a quiet place to go for a pint after work during the week.
