July 2007 - We stayed in room 129. Very old, poorly maintained and needing repair. 2 hours after check-in, we found a damp stain on one of the beds when we pulled back the sheets. Called front desk and on-duty manager came and accused us (our dog) of making the stain. Our dog is mature, well trained, and we take her outside frequently so she does not have accidents. We were with our dog the entire time and we know without a doubt that she did not do it. The age of stain and how it was almost dry was proof that it was way older than 2 hours and must have been left by previous guests. Obviously maids did not check that bed. Other bed was OK. After an argument, the manager still accused us of causing the stain. We and our dog stayed in several other hotels/motels on our journey and had very good experiences everywhere except Travelodge. You advertise being pet friendly, but then put guests with pets into the worst available room and still charge extra. We will never stay at a Travelodge again and we will tell our friends about this experience also.

May 2007 - I made a reservation for a block of rooms and was shocked to find out that 4 days later I had no rooms. Inept staff and management.

March 2007 - Truly enjoyed my stay at this unassuming looking hotel in such a small town. Very clean and the operators were extremely friendly and attentive. Good restaurant also!
