August 2005 - Close it Lago Enriquillo is a little known jewel familiar with the locals, but untouched the most tourists, it's Paya Palenque in the province of Savana Grande. Beautiful cristal beaches, untouched coral, and in the Modesto/Aquino side some of the best food, bars and good times on the island.
