"We found Paradise"
10
by Mark & Janet (from Los Angeles)
September 2006 - We were actually looking for a hotel / B&B in Sarlat, but read an article / recommendation in a French Travel Magazine about Ferme de Tayac, we looked at their lovely website, and immediately fell in love with it.
Suzanne and Mike gave us excellent directions on how to reach Les Eyzies de Tayac from Paris, and even advised us where we could have an excellent but affordable meal on the way down.
We were welcomed to Ferme de Tayac like friends, and immediately felt at home.
The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and very spacious and oozing with history. We chose the "Church View" within an arms reach view of a fortified church, like you have never seen before.
Suzanne, Mike and Marion are wonderful, the views are wonderful, the food was wonderful, the area is wonderful and Ferme de Tayac is Paradise.

"By far the BEST B&B"
10
by Deborah (from Boca Raton. Florida)
March 2006 - I stayed 5 nights at Ferme de Tayac, and they were without doubt the best 6 days of my 5 week european vacation.
Just 5 minutes walk from the train station, but so peacefully located in the very old and quaint Tayac, just 10 min. stroll from Les Eyzies.
I can honestly say that this B&B is absolutely bulging with history, dates hard to imagine for an American, I slept in a former Monks quarter that was about 400 years old, with walls that were almost 3 feet thick. The rooms are spotless, the beds comfy, the meals are out of this world, and the hosts Suzanne and Mike are not just perfect hosts, but wonderful people.
I miss Ferme de Tayac, and will definately revisit one day.
Without hesitation I would give B&B Ferme de Tayac a 10/10.
Deborah
