| "The best spot in London" |

July 2007 - No matter how many times I go to London, I find myself heading for Covent Garden - either for the shops or the people-watching or just the cool atmosphere. Filled with street performers, Londoners and tourists, the area is a hive of activity and entertainment, and generally a nifty place to hang. The actual market building houses restaurants and market stalls selling jewellery, artwork and crafts while the general plaza and the connecting side streets are filled with trendy boutiques and high street shops - perfect for a shopping excursion with lots of atmosphere but without the Oxford Street crowds. The restaurants and coffee shops offer neither great food nor cheap prices so I grab a healthy bite from Marks & Spencer's Simply Foods, snag a bench outside and enjoy the scene.
